What is the difference between an ACT test and a SAT test?

I just took an ACT test for a potential employer.
I thought the test was frivolous and ridiculous.
I’ve been out of school for 30 years.
I did pass with a score of a 4, a 5, and a 6, but I wouldn’t expect everyone to be able to pass them since I felt I had such difficulty. If I would have an opportunity to prepare for those questions, I would have been able to ace them all.
Are SAT tests as ridiculous? Do you take stock in any of these tests?
Do they really prove one can do well in the workplace?

      Yes.No.No. SAT prove you can push a pencil onto a bubble sheet. nothing more

      The act is harder and that is how got such high scores in math and not as universal got perfect scores in math and that is harder and that is accepted at all colleges whereas the act is harder and reading but my writing score to anyone seeking.
