How do I get a better score for my verbal sat?

I just recently got my psat scores from October. I did freakin great in math (700!) but horrible in reading aka verbal (520 :( ). I plan to get at least over 600 in verbal. Please give me REAL advice on how to obtain this. ( I prefer for a person who has gotten a good SAT score to answer, but if you have GOOD advice you got a good SAT score to me).
