How do I do the math to get my SAT score?

Posted by admin
Charlotte Sometimes asked:

I got my SAT scores in today but it didn’t tell me exactly my score. Instead it told me that I got a 680 on my critical reading, a 550 on my math, 610 on writing, 65 on multiple choice and 7 on my essay. Is my real score the sum of critical reading, math, and writing? Or the sum of all of the scores that they gave me, including the essay and multiple choice?

usually when ppl talk about their scores its the scores of all the sections added up..so your score would be 1840
