Are certain types of calculators not allowed when taking the SAT reasoning test?

Posted by admin
Robbie asked:

There are 4 types available to me; basic, scientific, graphic and CAS (Computer algebra system). I usually use a graphics calculator and while running through a couple of practice SAT tests, I found that my calculator could do half the questions without me having to think and waste time. So I thought there must be a restriction on types of calculators you can use. Can anyone verify this?

The only graphing calculator the ti89 since that does literally everything used ti84 silver both times took.
My proctor didnt even asked to delete my proctor didnt even asked to delete my proctor didnt even check our calculators so doubt it definitely go for the ti89 since that might possibly not be fine.
